“Association for Social Health in India” is working in field of drug de-addiction. Its area of working is Meerut city, Meerut district and some adjacent district of western Uttar Pradesh. Our Association renders services in the form of treatment and rehabilitation of the intoxicated persons without any discrimination, persons belonging to different religions; creeds and caste join this centre for treatment of drug addiction. The children of the age of twelve years and old age persons including above sixty years are provided treatment. Unemployed youths, students, traders, labourers, truck-bus drivers, auto and e-rickshaw drivers, illiterate and literates including higher educational professionals that is to say, people from all walks of life who suffered from intoxication come to this centre for treatment and rehabilitation.

Many drug abusers take narcotic substances, alcohol, charas, ganja, sulfa, smack, injection, tablets. Some people used to take new synthetic substances like fluid, thinner and cough syrup. Commoners among them are habitual alcoholics and take cannabis. Some of them have been victims of drug generated mental diseases.
